“ The Grass is Always Greener in the Other Side of the Hill.” – Erma Bombeck

What about the dead grass or barren ground some of us wind up on trying to climb this hill only to be pushed back down it by others?

What about illness one didn’t ask for that creates weakness so one can not climb it?

What about not climbing this hill to greener grasses/pastures due to any of above mentioned but staying as positive as your metaphor?

Good, positive metaphor but I know myself and others who must pass on it because being strong even on dead grass or barrenness of land means more to us than greener “pastures.”

I thank GOD for that.
